Who we are
Novvemtech is a technology consulting firm. This policy explains what personal information we collect through novvemtech.com, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.
What we collect
Contact form
When you submit our contact form, we collect your name, company name, email address, and the message you send. We use this solely to respond to your inquiry.
Analytics (with your consent)
If you accept cookies, we use Google Analytics 4 to collect anonymised information about how visitors use our site — including pages visited, time spent, and general location (country/region level). This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally.
Google Analytics sets the following cookies: _ga, _ga_*. These persist for up to 2 years.
Cookies
We use two types of cookies:
- Functional: A single cookie to remember your cookie consent preference. This is set regardless of your choice and expires after 1 year.
- Analytics (optional): Google Analytics cookies, set only if you click "Accept" on our cookie banner. You can decline these without affecting your ability to use the site.
You can change your preference at any time by clearing your browser cookies and revisiting the site.
How we use your data
- Contact form submissions are used only to respond to your inquiry.
- Analytics data helps us understand which parts of our site are useful and improve the overall experience.
- We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
Third parties
We share data with the following third parties only as necessary:
- Google Analytics — analytics only, if you consent. Governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
- Our email provider receives contact form submissions so we can reply to you.
Data retention
- Contact form data is retained for as long as needed to manage the inquiry, typically no longer than 2 years.
- Google Analytics data is retained for 26 months by default.
Your rights
Depending on where you're located, you may have the following rights:
- Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction: Ask us to correct inaccurate data.
- Deletion: Request that we delete your data.
- Objection: Object to how we process your data.
- Withdraw consent: If processing is based on consent (e.g. analytics cookies), you can withdraw at any time by clearing your cookies.
Canadian residents (CASL & PIPEDA)
We comply with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) and the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). We do not send commercial electronic messages without express or implied consent. Submitting our contact form may be treated as an inquiry under CASL, giving us implied consent to send you commercial electronic messages related to your inquiry for up to 6 months from the date you submitted it.
